  5. Such a beautiful flower, blooming so early, seems like it should be named differently . . . like Resurrection Iris.

  8. That photo's softness exemplifies the peace I (probably we) need today!

  9. This photo seems to speak of internal peace to me, too. Perhaps the having or the seeking. After my mom died, an African violet showed up mysteriously in my classroom. No one knew who had dropped it off. It was her favorite flower and bloomed continuously. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence.

  12. I hadn't heard of a cemetery iris until your ghostly photo -- very beautiful. I think they seem like a perfect memorial.

  15. How exciting... I love when my Irises started blooming. They have been pasted down through my family for years. I have no idea what the official names of each bloom, but I love watching all the colors return each year. I probably have another month before my first bloom! Beautiful photo :)

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
"Pooh!" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."
