SO true! Well said and gorgeous pic!!!
Maybe that is why we are enraptured by butterflies and they make us smile!
What a great start to a day a visit here represents. Honestly at times I have to force myself to stop trying to get a fabulous shot such as yours and simply enjoy our fluttering visitors. Because no matter what I'm doing (or when) the impulse to grab my camera is nearly irresistible whenever I catch sight of a butterfly at work. Now I can quit trying for that perfect photo - it is already here!
You can me singing the song from the British sitcom-Butterflies.
Gorgeous photograph, love how the wings jump out of the picture.
Soft gentle and a happy reminder that life can be this way as well....if we choose it.
In a year when the numbers of monarchs are down it is a joy to see them!
Sweet--thanks for reminding us to take a moment to appreciate the seemingly simple, yet incredibly important things, Cat!
That's very clever, and so true :)
Lovely post. Butterflies do go where they please which makes photographing them not an easy job;) You did a great job capturing this one.
Lovely Cat! I hope you are or will be seeing many monarchs passing through. I hear the drought may affect the western flow. Warm Regards!
Oh I love this! So true, so true.
Cat, do you illustrate for books and magazines? You sure should! Absolutely lovely... :)
Aw, thanks Shyrlene ♥
What a beautiful way to look at falling plant debris - LOVE IT!
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh!" he whispered. "Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you." ~A.A. MilneThanks for taking the time to visit!
