Those are great photos! I love them in black and white.
It's hard to capture something so ethereal as misty fog, but your pictures do it. Very moody, very beautiful.
I love seeing images taken in the fog. There is so much mood generated. Your three images are very lovely. Makes you want stay in by the window all day and reflect.
Lovely... no words needed.
That's exactly what my backyard looked like this morning, Cat! I *love* it and you, once again, captured it beautifully :)
Mystical and magical!! Stunning compositions Cat!
Gorgeous. Love these!
Great images. You're very good with your camera and I like how you still find interesting things to share even in this slow season.
How wonderfully spooky and ethereal! I half expect to see a cloaked figure emerging from behind the trees...
beautiful photography! very evocative!
Very nice photo! great tones
Hi Cat, `Sublime` is indeed the word! The fact that they are in black and white creates the atmosphere even better!JFollow me at HEDGELAND TALES
What a beautiful foggy day-love the atmoshpere!
Wow Cat! You can really appreciate the structure of the trees when you view them in black and white. You need to put these on your wall.
Thanks all! - These photos were taken at 7:00 am in my pajamas on the front lawn! By 8:00 the fog had burned off completely and we ended up with a beautiful, sunny day...
I love fog and your photos! and we do get our share of it in the Pacific northwest.
Okay. Dumb question...are these photos in black and white, or is it just that the fog and the early morning makes them look black and white?? I know zip about photography. At any rate, black and white or not, they are gorgeous!
I don't get to see fog all that often and these photos are fantastic. great idea for a wordless wednesday photo - these don't need any text to describe the image or the emotion behind it.
Hi Toni, thank you. The photos are black and white ;)
Totally agree, fog is sublime! Some of my favorite captures ...
Fog does such wonderful things with images - gives them so much more feeling. I'm still waiting for a good fog (maybe I should be up earlier ?).These are great Cat !
These pictures look like a Halloween Scene! A bit eerie but oh so beautiful in their own misty way :-)
Magical photos. It is amazing how the fog alters the landscape and changes our view of our gardens.
OK .. you must know by now I am working backwards .. finally SEEING your fog pictures !! hahaI love them and they would be perfect for Halloween (I think you already know I have a thing for Halloween ?)I spent a few years as a child right on the very edge of Nova Scotia on the Atlantic ocean and we would have fog roll in like a thick blanket .. I was never afraid or put off with it .. I think being a Halloween freak even at a young age made me like that ? ;-)You got great pictures in your jammies girl !!Joy : ) another jammie photographer? haha
Love the fog with the black shadowy trees. Very elegant!
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh!" he whispered. "Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you." ~A.A. MilneThanks for taking the time to visit!
